Winners of AI Innovation Competition at Launch of New Digital Technologies Forum in Berlin © BILDKRAFTWERK/BMWi The winners now have the opportunity to realize their projects within the framework of a funded, three-year implementation phase. This creates various platforms and ecosystems that are intended to support and further advance the development of Artificial Intelligence in Germany, especially for SMEs.

With theAIInnovation Competition, we are putting in place a cornerstone of Germany’s AIStrategy. We have searched for – and found – outstanding approaches to AI-based, market-oriented platforms. The great response to the competition shows that we in Germany have the will and the potential Artificial Intelligence to make an economic success of artificial intelligence. We hope that the winners’ projects will give us important impetus and stimulus for the use of AI in Germany.”
